This service explains how employment impacts Social Security benefits, including SSI, SSDI, and healthcare programs like Medicare and Medicaid. It also provides information on SSA work incentives and the importance of wage reporting to avoid benefit overpayments, supporting a smooth transition to employment without jeopardizing benefits.
Job Readiness Training
This program offers materials and activities aimed at improving vocational skills while highlighting the importance of soft skills in the workplace. Participants gain practical tools to enhance their career readiness and workplace success.
Life Skills
The Life Skills program equips individuals with the knowledge and tools needed to live independently. It focuses on essential skills such as household management, financial planning, and self-care to promote autonomy.
Money Matters
This program provides a fun and engaging way for individuals to explore their money personality, understand their financial habits, and develop better saving, spending, and giving practices. It encourages thoughtful discussions around personal finance.
More Alike than Different
Designed for students, this program fosters empathy, inclusion, and disability awareness through interactive activities and discussions. It promotes understanding and acceptance in a fun, engaging way.
RELAX
This program helps individuals learn to manage anger and cultivate healthy relationships. It focuses on emotional regulation and building positive, respectful interactions with others.
The 4th R
Using open dialogue and role-playing, the Healthy Relationships Plus Program engages students in discussions about peer pressure, media literacy, help-seeking, and healthy peer and dating relationships. It promotes positive communication and decision-making skills.
Work FUNdamentals
The Work FUNdamentals program teaches the essential skills, also known as soft skills, needed to gain and maintain employment. Participants learn key strategies for professional success and workplace adaptability.
