American Sign Language (ASL) Beginner
This six-week beginner’s class introduces American Sign Language. You will learn communication skills, including the alphabet, numbers, colors, fingerspelling, vocabulary words, and the expansion of basic conversation.
American Sign Language (ASL) Beginner 2.0
Must have completed Beginner ASL. This six-week beginner 2.0 class is an extension to Beginner ASL. You will continue to learn communication skills and vocabulary, including family, relationships, occasions, appearances, word questions, and more, along with facial expression practice activities.
American Sign Language (ASL) Intermediate
This six-week intermediate ASL class will help you learn communication skills, including the Day and Times, Family and Friends, Body and health, and at home. It will also help you build vocabulary words and expand basic conversation.
American Sign Language (ASL) Intermediate 2.0
Must have completed Intermediate ASL. During this six-week intermediate 2.0 ASL class, you will continue to expand your vocabulary by adding new words. You will also learn signed sentences, how to respond to questions, and how to develop basic conversation.
American Sign Language (ASL) Conversational ASL
Must have completed Intermediate 2.0 ASL. During this six-week conversational ASL class, we combine everything we have learned and begin having full conversations with ASL.
Recreation and Wellness Classes
DNEM can create a variety of specialized private programs for your organization. Some areas include but are not limited to, adaptive kayaking and biking clinics, inclusive art, cooking, exercise, and therapeutic music and movement programs.
